• If you don’t expand your mind, literacy and knowledge, you will constantly seek others for company; you cannot enjoy your own company
• In severe resource crunch, harsh sacrifices have to be made…and will be made
• The tragedy is when two people yearn for love but are unable to give it to each other
• We would not be where we are without good things happening in the world and in our life; we don’t seem to recognize them
• For some people, it is hard to put other persons ahead of their pet passions
• People who refuse to hear close one’s stressful life stories, are the biggest escapists of the world
• The immature and the selfish use others as punching bags…it’s for the other to realize this and step aside
• If people want to brood over things endlessly, best thing is to let them…its great enjoyment for them
• We suspect others’ tears as crocodile tears but expect ours to be considered genuine
• There are as many people living in relationships they would rather not, as those who are happy in their relationships
• One of the nice things in life is, we change our mind over time
• The capable must also be generous; otherwise the world will not survive

• We can and do get used to unhappiness and get on in life without trying to change things for the better
