Still continued, Cardinal truths…
- Men have lots of patience with machines and animals…not so much with co- humans
- Why is it that we are busy performing rituals rather than doing our duty towards others in our family and community?
- Complaining endlessly about life is just that…only complaining, they are hardly looking for solutions
- Those who love themselves too much have no love for others
- Cowards hide behind the façade of authority
- It is hard to digest the fact that some among us are not good at living with our families; they are more comfortable living away from them
- What you say and what the other person hears are two different things
- Some people interrupt you asking irrelevant questions, since they do not want to hear what you want to say
- One thing is sure, men will never know the pain of child birth and women have no vocabulary to describe that pain!
- What you did in each of the positions you held will determine your reputation rather than where you have reached
- Desires remain, even if they don’t become expectations from others, that’s why unhappiness
- The desire to overtake others is the bane that makes us commit blunders
- Looking to others for inspiration is fine…but trying to walk in their footsteps can and does backfire
- We put our best foot forward when we are doing something for ourselves
- Hurt kills relationships more than anger
- Love less marriages are far better than conflicted ones with passion thrown in… at least children will not suffer
- Our minds mess with our health more than other environmental factors
- We train our children for dependency for long years wanting to protect them…and suddenly we expect independent behaviour from them!
- Physical work is a great leveler during mental turmoil
- Controlling as well as expressing emotions is the supreme gift that humans possess…tragically we err most of the time when to do what!
- We appreciate things only in the retrospect…never in the present
- Why do humans enjoy negativity so much more? We endlessly watch the TV rather than walk in the garden!
- Walk for the sake of the body health and read for the sake of mind’s health…two cardinal truths of life. How many among us follow these simple actions? Probably not even a fraction.
- Don’t turn back and look at your past…good past makes you regret your present…bad past will make you regret your actions then…there is only regret there!
- Postponing an action when situation is bad is dangerous; situation gets worse…it never goes away
- There is a qualitative difference in the love you feel for your dear ones as you age…it does not go away…it takes a different form
- These days words are news…he said…she said…he wrote…she wrote…
- Mediocre people rise up in career since they are non threatening
- When we keep blaming others, we will never take initiative to solve a problem
- Most of us get into a fit and mouth threats we never will indulge in…it is just a momentary outlet
- It is important not to jump at a criticism but to let it slide and work on it at your own convenience, when it at personal level. At professional level, of course, jumping to set things right makes sense
- People who go on saying their life is an open book are hardly ever trustworthy
- Science says the euphoria of romantic love sustains for about an year and a half…but silly humans refuse to believe that and therefore the trauma in life
- Perhaps, wanting to be liked is less important than wanting to be feared
- Most of us do not realize the power of ignoring…we rise to the bait and cause havoc
- The years we waste not reading up on things that matter in life are regrettable
- There is no cure for a suspicious mind
- Parenting stress has greater repercussions than family stress
- Making promises to others is no use…we must make promises to ourselves in order to change our life
- Remember all arguments are not worth winning
- We don’t have to be loved by others; must learn to love ourselves
- Disagreeing with others all the time is not an achievement
- The less we stress about our health, the better it is
- People never see the ridiculous side of life …that’s the great tragedy
- Hurting feelings is as big a crime as hurting bodies…law is not very fair on this aspect
- When to drop an idea is as important as working hard at an idea
- Human collaboration is always conditional
- Nobody lives for others…unless they have no other choice
- Our idea that we are indispensable is rooted in arrogance
- In the final analysis…talent wins, not power, not manipulation
