This list too can go on…will stop here so that we all can ponder about this
Most of it is followed. God piece of advice
Good summary of good rules! World can become a better place to live if these rules, to the extent, followed. Health n happiness which is true wealth, is guaranteed!
yes. It is advisable and also practical to live by some simple rules so that we do not clutter and find ourselves in worthless positions. Very many options listed by you to choose and make some simple rules that make us feel happy and worthy of times. Good effort Mayuri in listing all these for us. Thank you.
Mostly we follow but few we miss when in angry or tense. Meditation/ pooja/ jaap etc which keep mind cool certainly helps in achieving many or all and I practise same by taking mind off when ever disturbance affects
Thank you for the list Amma. These can be important life rules to be followed by all. Can go onto walls or fridge doors to check on a daily basis if one has followed atleast a few of these. Life will be much better if these are adhered to.
Very good list to pay attention to.
Every rule has a corollary. A few:
“Pick up the newspaper, and read good news first”
Newspaper? Are they still around?
Good news? First wade through all the bad sensational news then maybe you’ll locate a nugget of good one on Page 10
“Eat only to 70% of your capacity in every meal”
So, stop after the soup, salad and some water. Every meal.
“Let some thoughts and experiences remain secret”
The death of Facebook, Instagram, ….
“Put things in their place as soon as they are no longer in use”
If only one could box the unused brain the world would be a different place …
“Be proud to be a tax payer”
The new slogan from your friendly IT department that will make you pay up
“Avoid your cell phone for at least an hour in a day”
“Stay silent for at least an hour a day”
“Close eyes and sit quietly for some time each day”
So how many remaining hours that I can laze around that inviting sofa …
